Today we're celebrating a milestone for one of our employees!  Carol, one of our office staff, is celebrating 20 years of service with the company!  Come on in for some cake today and help us celebrate.

Greg Shannon's Hat of the Day!

We're very proud to show this hat we created for Greg Shannon of KG Mornings.

They are calling it the 'Epic' hat of the day.  Greg recently shaved his head for cancer and is wearing a new hat every day and showing it on their Facebook page.   He had to share the hat with the rest of his coworkers - this video from YouTube really cracked us up!



The Mad Butcher himself had to try out the hat as well before sending it to Greg - we think the style's going to catch on!

What we do

“The Biggest Little Packer in the West.”  We are an old-fashioned Butcher Shop and European-style Deli, with a full service, provincially inspected, packing plant and slaughter facility.  We have a retail butcher shop and a large wholesale following throughout Alberta.  Based in Innisfail, Alberta, we produce our own award winning sausage on-site under the registered trade name “The Mad Butcher.” 

We offer a large selection of inspected meat from local Alberta producers including Beef, Pork, Chicken, Turkey, Lamb, Veal, Buffalo, Elk and Rabbit.  Our aim is to provide the highest quality meats and sausages available in Alberta. 

We are strong believers in giving back to the community we serve.  We proudly support charitable causes and organizations with a local focus in our community.
